FOREWORD Please Note: The original content of this domain Website has been modified to include details of the seventh volume of the I Ching Project, and as a result it has been transferred to another domain website known as: ichingmaster.info. The content of this new domain website includes examples of my I Ching Project research work, which may be of some interest to practitioners of the art and the wider general public. The research work shown here is not about the divination aspects of the I Ching Oracle. It far more important, as it covers the very structures of the mathematical codes which are incorporated within the text of this ancient book. In Volume One of the I Ching Project "The Secret Computer of the Ancient Gods" I showed and proved that the book of changes was not only a book of divination, but was also a book of profound mathematics and science. The Tibetan Mandala which incorporated a trigram cyclic sequence which differed from the Earlier and Later Heaven trigram cyclic sequences shown in The I Ching conclusively proved that something was hidden within its text. The divination of the I Ching Oracle involves the formulation of a hexagram which may be created by utilizing either forty nine yarrow sticks or by using three old Chinese coins. It should be noted that the formulation of all sixty four hexagrams can be scientifically created, by using the Earlier and Later Heaven cyclic sequences, by placing the trigrams from one cyclic sequence above another trigram selected from the other cyclic sequence. The introduction of the Mandala trigram cyclic sequence required a new mathematical methodology for the formulation of hexagrams. Initially, a circular disc hexagram calculator was used to create hexagrams. It incorporated three different diameter discs with the trigrams for each cyclic sequence engraved on the periphery of each disc. By aligning the trigrams from each disc, with one disc in a static mode and rotating the other two discs, a large number of hexagrams were created. This methodology was later replaced by the significant discovery of a double - T - symbol, which was hidden within the original binary / hexagram code used by the ancient Chinese scribes. This later led to the creation of the letter - H - a symbol which represented a cursor for a slide rule. Full details of this discovery are incorporated within the webpages shown herein, which describes the formulation of hexagrams by utilizing the mathematical methodalogy of the - H - system hexagram calulator. Brief details of my research books are described below: The 1st volume of the I Ching Project research work conclusively proves that the I Ching - the book of changes, forms part of an ancient computer system, where a vast library of data and information is stored in a symbolic and pictographic format. Specific examples of my research work is shown herein i.e.,
The Mathematical Methodology of the I Ching, which diagramatical shows the linkage between the hexagrams
of the ancient Ma-Wang-Tui and Modern Key Code editions of the I Ching.
This document conclusively proves that the ancient Chinese sages
developed the Binary numerical mathematical system some 4000 years ago.
The 2nd volume of my research, conclusively proves the relationship between
the I Ching and the Genetic code. The evidence presented shows
that this relationship is based on a sixty-four numerical eight
by eight matrix system, where each individual numerical digit
represents the Vedic summation of the electrons contained within
the molecular structure of an individual polynucleotide chain.
The mathematical methodology utilized
appears to be reminiscent of the Chinese lost formalistic
natural philosophy that sought to embrace the entire world of
thought in a system of number symbols, which saw its beginning
during the Ch'in and Han dynasties. The 3rd volume
contains examples of the analytical methodology employed. It also contains many technological images, obtained
from a number of pictographic samples, extracted from the
library of rediscovered hidden symbolic data. The 4th volume
contains additional research notes on the Genetic Code matrix
system, molecular biological mathematics and a hypothesis on the
Diversity of Species. The 5th volume
contains my research notes on the I Ching and its
mathematical relationship with Magic Squares, Genetic Code
molecular Hyper-cubes and the Gates of Destiny. It conclusively
proves and re-affirms my interpretation of Richard Wilhelm's
comments, regarding the Yin/Yang trigram line transformation and
non-transformation, which changes the ancient linear line
language into a simple numerical line language (Refer to Volume
1, Chapter 7 - Number Mysticism and Yin / Yang line
transformation). It shows that the
mathematical methodology utilized by the ancient Chinese scribes
may have been created in a mystical manner, as it involves the
formulation of a unique diagram which represents the "five
stages of change" and the mathematical disposition of the
natural elements, represented by the Vedic summation of the
Heavenly and Earthly numerical characteristics of the Ho T'u -
The Dragon Horse diagram and the Lo Shu - The Tortoise diagram.
The 6th volume is the most important I Ching Project document.
It contains the key coded methodologies which may have been used by Fu Hsi and King Wen.
It provides additional conclusive evidence that the originator(s) of the I Ching employed a
mathematical system (developed during the
Ch'in and Han dynasties) which encompassed a formalistic natural philosophy that sought to embrace the entire
world in a system of number symbolism. The research documentation within this book shows how the
sixty-four hexagrams were formulated by a combination of trigrams selected from the Earlier Heaven and Later Heaven cyclic sequences.
It contains the mathematical methodology and the step by step procedures which may have been employed by King Wen to create the Trigram Order of Completion and the
Standard (Modern) Key Code matrices from the original Ma-wang-tui matrix of sixty-four hexagrams. This book will astonish many practitioners of divination, as I have conclusively proven that the
I Ching or book of changes is an ancient time capsule of hidden mathematics and science which has survived the ravages of time. The 7th volume differs from the other six volumes,
because it is a mathematical analysis of the T'ai Hsuan Ching, another Chinese Classic, which is considered to be the lost companion of the I Ching. Compton-Kowanz Publications - 2024
